English Premier League 2019-20 season preview: Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers – Emirates Stadium – Saturday, November 2, 2019 – 15:00 BST
Arsenal Form Analysis
After having been knocked out of the EFL Cup in a 10-goal thriller against Liverpool on Wednesday, Unai Emery's Gunners now look forward to hosting Wolverhampton this weekend at the Emirates stadium.
The Gunners will look to the same kind of attacking form they showed against Liverpool when they pumped in 5 goals in normal playing time, although Emery will be left musing about the kind of shambles his defense is in.
Arsenal's Premier League campaign that had begun solidly has now gradually petered out into a desperate attempt to break into the Top four what with them being in the 5th spot currently and a clear 4 points behind Chelsea.
The Gunners have gone through their past 4 Premier League games with just a solitary win. Home ground Emirates doesn't look the kind of fortress it was for the North London anymore. Although they have an unbeaten record at home in the ongoing 2019-20 season (Win 3 Draw 2 Loss 0) from their six fixtures so far, their last outing with Crystal Palace does not hold them in good stead ahead of Saturday's clash with the Wolves.
After quickly leading 2-0 against Palace last weekend the Gunners allowed their opponents to claw back with a 2-2 draw.
The main culprit has been their captain Granit Xhaka whose foul temper and lackluster play contributed a lot to Arsenal's poor show of late.
Arsenal did look sprightly without the Swiss around, especially in attack, against Liverpool. Mesul Ozil and Lucas Torreira looked very effective and along with Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli are expected to feature more and more in Arsenal's starting XI going into the future.
Wolverhampton Recent Form Analysis
As for Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves, they are through a season which is a far cry from the ebullient form they showed in the 2018-19 version. They are struggling to find themselves in the top half and are in the 12th spot currently.
Excepting for a shock 0-2 away victory over champions Manchester City and one over Watford at home, the Wolves have no wins to show form their 10 Premier League outings so far.
Draws against lower bottom-half sides like Southampton and Newcastle haven't helped either. Coach Nuno Santo will in probability go with his attacking duo of Diogo Jota and Raul Jiminez who have got most of the side's goals.
Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Betting Odds of Note
Except for a 0-0 draw in their opener against Leicester City, the Wolves have managed to score in all their away games. This makes the Odds of Both Teams to Score for Saturday's very bright. It's 4/6 for a YES and 11/10 for a NO.
Since striker Alexander Lacazette will be out of the fray for Arsenal with a long-term injury, the odds on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime are 4/6 with Gabriel Martinelli coming in next at 5/4.
For the Wolves, it's odds of 15/8 for Raul Jimenez to score anytime and Diogo Jota at 11/4.

Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Predictions
The Wolves had a wonderful season against Arsenal in 2018-19, beating them 3-1 at home at the Molineux. They then held them to a 1-1 draw at the Emirates in their return fixture. With “bad boys” Xhaka, Matteo Guendozi and a below-par Nicolas Pepe out of favour for the time being, the odds are very much on a rejuvenated Arsenal attack to bring in three points on Saturday.
But given the brief history between these two, a drawn result can't be ruled out.
