Carlo Ancelotti's Everton who spent long periods of the season inside the Top Four in October and November, have lost games steadily and picked up just 2 points from their last four games in the League, which is why they find themselves on the 8th presently.

Team news
For Everton, Dominic Calvert-Lewin who missed the 0-0 draw with Brighton on Monday night could be in for a start and so could be Allan. Bernard, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph are all sidelined with injuries, while center-back Yerry Mina was forced off in the second half against Brighton. Midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin has still not returned to fitness, but goalkeeper Jordan Pickford looks all set to start.
As for Jose Mourinho's Spurs, full-backs Matt Doherty and Ben Davies are both still unavailable owing to injuries while Toby Alderweireld and Moussa Sissoko are in line for recalls. Giovani Lo Celso and Eric Dier are likely to be dropped from the starting XI while Son Heung-min and Harry Kane along with Lucas Moura are certain starters upfront with the off-colour Gareth Bale likely to be benched once again.
Everton possible starting XI in a 3-5-2 formation:
Pickford (goal); Holgate, Godfrey, Keane; Coleman, Allan, Sigurdsson, Digne; Rodriguez; Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting XI in a 4-2-3-1 formation:
Lloris (goal); Aurier, Alderweireld, Rodon, Reguilon; Hojbjerg, Sissoko; Lucas, Ndombele, Son; Kane
With a number of injury concerns to deal with, Ancelotti's Toffees will be on the backfoot despite playing at home. Spurs’ form on the road going into the Goodison Park trip is nothing to write home about, having won only 3 of their 10 previous away games.
