Germany sit one behind Group A4 leaders Spain and equal on points with November 14th's opponents, Ukraine, whom they host at Red Bull Arena, Leipzig. The Leipzig tie will be a tough battle for the second place of the Group A4 cluster.

The Germans managed to draw at home 3-3 against Switzerland in their last Group game but Ukraine will be come with their tails up after their 1-0 win at Kiev over Spain.

The German side are a strong one on paper despite three draws from their 4 Nations League outings in the current edition. They have players like Chelsea duo Kai Havertz and Timo Werner and Serge Gnabry of Bayern dotting their ranks. Kai Havertz has been a top performer for the Germans so far with 6 goals along with 3 assists and a 87% pass completion rate, 0.8 shots on target and 1.3 key passes per game recently.

Timo Werner is known for his speed and adept finishing skills with 12 goals in 20 games, a 81.7% pass success rate in addition to 2.5 shots on target and 0.8 key passes per game. Midfielder Robin Gosen, too, adds value to the German attack with a goal and 3 assists from his recent outings along with a 81% pass accuracy rate and 1.7 interceptions per game.

The brilliant Serge Gnabry is all set to return after having tested negative. The Bayern striker has netted 7 from his 13 previous games with a 85% pass accuracy rate and an astonishing 2.6 shots on target per game.

Ukraine's forward line consists of West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko along with Gent center-forward Roman Yaremchuk and attacking midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov. Apart from Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk and Zubkov, one more player to watch out for will be Yevhenii Makarenko who is an attacking midfielder for Anderlecht. Makarenko has a 84% pass success rate along with an average of 1.8 aerials wins per game recently.

Vitaliy Mykolenko, Eduard Sobol and Illya Zabarnyi will mind things at the back for Ukraine. Mykolenko is a superb defender who has a 81% pass success rate with his main strengths being tackling and interceptions. He has had 2 interceptions, 1.7 tackles and 4.3 clears per game recently. Sobol is the more experienced with a 75% pass success, 1.2 clearances, 1.9 interceptions and 2.3 tackles every game on an average.

The Germans have a formidable backline consisting of players like Anthony Rudiger, Matthias Ginter and Joshua Kimmich. Ginter is exceptional in aerial duels with a win rate of 1.8 per game in addition to his 84% pass success rate. Additionally, he has 1 interception and 2.8 clearances per match so far. Kimmich is more of an attacker than a right back and has 3 goals from his 11 appearances this season.

The Germans despite all their domination haven't been able to make an impact in their 4 Nations League games this season and Ukraine on the other hand being inferior on paper have enough firepower to pull off a surprise which makes the game at Leipzig potentially a very intriguing one. The UK bookmaker odds are off course on the Germans to take 3 points from the November 14 game.
