Chelsea will be on the road once again, this time to Elland Road where they will play Leeds United in a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues are currently experiencing a huge winning streak under Thomas Tuchel. The German who took over reins from Frank Lampard in late January has masterminded seven wins and three draws across all competitions since the time he arrived at Stamford Bridge.

For Marcelo Biesla's Leeds, it been a steady downhill journey having lost seven of their 11 Premier League outings since the beginning of 2021. They go into Saturday's home fixture on the back of four losses from their previous five League fixtures.

While only the Top Four have scored more goals than the attack-minded Peacocks, the huge number of goals they have conceded (46 and next only to 19th placed West Bromwich) have sorely let them down, leaving them 15 points adrift and seven places away from their forthcoming opponents who are currently on the 4th spot.

Biesla will have to do without Robin Koch, Jamie Shackleton and Adam Forshaw owing to injuries while Kalvin Phillips returned to the lower midfield space in their previous game against West Ham. Meanwhile, Jack Harrison will be pushing for a place in the starting XI following back-to-back appearances off the bench in the losses to Aston Villa and West Ham.

Thiago Silva who was benched in last Monday's win against Everton seems ready for a start at Elland Road. Tammy Abraham, who was left out from the squad that drew with Manchester United will miss out Saturday's game due to an ankle injury.

Leeds seemed not to have learnt their lessons from their past defeats, where in their eagerness to attack they left lots of space between their central players and midfielders, hence allowing opponents to score at will.
