Bet HEREManchester City vs West Ham Preview
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will be expecting to make it 20 straight wins across all competitions when they play host to top-four chasing West Ham United on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad stadium. The Citizens earned their 19th successive win when they eased past Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 in a Champions League fixture on Wednesday night.
As far as the Premier League goes, Guardiola's men have racked up 12 wins on the trot and nine clean sheets to boot.
West Ham, on the other hand, will go into the Etihad duel on the back of a 2-1 home success over Tottenham Hotspur in a EPL outing last weekend. It has been an excellent campaign for David Moyes's so far, his side having collected 45 points from their 25 matches to move to the fourth spot in the table, just four points behind second-placed Man United.
Although the Hammers have been excellent at the London Stadium this season, boasting the second-best home record in the division, they have dropped points in half of their twelve away league fixtures, losing to Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea along the way.

Manchester City vs West Ham Team News
As for team news, City will miss out on the services of center-back Nathan Ake owing to injury. Guardiola is expected to make changes from the side that started against Monchengladbach, with Riyad Mahrez, Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Oleksandr Zinchenko set to return to the fold.
Raheem Sterling could play through the middle with Mahrez and Phil Foden operating in wide positions, that could see Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva drop to the bench.
As for West Ham, Angelo Ogbonna, Arthur Masuaku and Andriy Yarmolenko are all unavailable for selection. Moyes could decide to settle for the same XI that featured against the Spurs, with Pablo Fornals, Jarrod Bowen and Jesse Lingard operating behind lone forward Michail Antonio. Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek are certain starters in the mid-field space, while Issa Diop is expected to continue alongside Craig Dawson at centre-back owing to Ogbonna's absence.
Manchester City vs West Ham Lineups
Manchester City probable starting XI:
Ederson (goal); Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Sterling, Foden
West Ham United probable starting XI:
Fabianski (goal); Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell; Soucek, Rice; Bowen, Fornals, Lingard; Antonio
Manchester City vs West Ham Verdict
While Moyes' Hammers are not a side to be taken lightly, it would be absurd to expect them to pull off the unexpected at the Etihad on Saturday. Their forthcoming rivals have simply too much firepower at the moment to be overwhelmed in anyway. Looks like three more comfortable points on the way for City.
