Manchester United will be all pumped up going into their Sunday's Premier League clash with Liverpool after their thumping 6-2 win over Roma in a first-leg clash of the Europa League semi-final during midweek.

Twin second half strikes from Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani set the stage for a spectacular fightback after the Red Devils found themselves trailing 1-2 at interval.

Prior to Thursday's emphatic win at Old Trafford, Ole Solksjaer's men had overwhelmed Granada 4-0 on aggregate in the Round of 8 stage.

Liverpool's recent form has been a far cry from that of their forthcoming opponents, having been ousted by Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and held to 1-1 draws on the domestic front by not very fancied opposition like Leeds United and Newcastle.

Dean Henderson, though, may come in for David de Gea for the goalkeeper's spot while Eric Bailly will hope to make his first start since March.

Klopp will try to restore the dependable Fabinho to the back four while Curtis Jones may not recover fully to qualify for a weekend start. Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will be in all probability given starts upfront with the injury-prone but effective Diogo Jota coming in as substitute at some point of the match.

Firmino and Mane, have really struggled in front of goal for quite some time now but Klopp is unlikely to axe either of them from the starting XI.
