United go into Tuesday's Premier League clash on the back of a thrilling 2-2 draw to Leicester City on Saturday while the Wolves were unlucky to have come out of a 1-1 draw with Tottenham last weekend.
United's sensational record in away games of 11 straight wins was brought to an end at the King Power stadium when they were held to a draw by Leicester City. This is in contrast to a less than satisfactory performance at home where their record from 7 games this season looks like 2W/2D/3L.
The Wolves on the other hand have been in poor form of late, winning just one of their previous five Premier League outings, losing three and drawing one.

United center-back Victor Lindelof who had to leave the field against Leicester with a back injury is not likely to feature against the Wolves.
An injured Aaron Wan-Bissaka looks doubtful, too – which leaves Axel Tuanzebe to marshall the back along with the likes of Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly and Alex Telles. Edinson Cavani who has been mostly coming in as substitute could potentially be in line to spearhead the attack in place of Anthony Martial, having performed brilliantly during whatever time he has spent on the pitch so far.
For the Wolves, Fernando Marcal who was seen struggling towards the end in the draw against Tottenham will not have sufficient time to recover for the Old Trafford clash with Rayan Ait Nouri likely to take his place.
Ace striker Raul Jimenez still remains a long-term absentee with defenders Leander Dendoncker and Wily Boly joining him on the injury list although the Wolves are still left with an impressive attacking quartet of Adama Traore, Daniel Podence, Pedro Neto and the very gifted youngster Fabio Silva.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea (goal); Tuanzebe, Maguire, Bailly, Telles; Fred, McTominay; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Patricio (goal); Semedo, Coady, Saiss, Ait Nouri; Neves, Moutinho; Traore, Podence, Neto; Silva
The Red Devils' last outing at home, much in contrast to their previous fixtures, was a runaway 6-2 win over Leeds. But the Wolves after their good showing in the draw against Tottenham last weekend, could prove to be much tougher opponents.
From the last six occasions these two have met since 2019 across all competitions, the Wolves have won twice, lost once and drawn in three.
But given United's present run of form driven by the likes of Bruno Fernandes (14 goals this season) and Marcus Rashford (13), the hosts appear the favourites to take 3 points from December 29th's game at Old Trafford.
