A supercomputer powered by data gathered from Google, Opta and Squawka has come out with predictions for the Premier League season 2019-20.

2019/20 Premier League Prediction Winner

Manchester City

If the computer is to be believed, then champions Manchester City are in line for their third consecutive EPL (English Premier League) title. City have already bagged the crown for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.

2019/20 Premier League Prediction Top Four

  1. Man City  1/66
  2. Liverpool 1/16
  3. Tottenham 1/2
  4. Chelsea 11/10

Pep Guardiola's men are set to widen the gap with 2nd placed Liverpool. The Reds fell behind City by a solitary point in the previous season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are predicted to remain in the Top Four as they did in 2018-19, finishing third and fourth respectively on the final EPL points table.

Arsenal and Manchester are in for disappointing seasons, the supercomputer predicts. The two teams are likely to end in fifth and sixth places respectively.

Wolverhampton could be pipped from their seventh spot of last season by Everton. The Toffees are predicted to move a notch above from eighth.

Crystal Palace could see their fortunes improve and finish on the tenth place. This would be an improvement from last season's 13th.

2019/20 Premier League Prediction Relegation

Newcastle could face relegation once more after the one in their 2016-17 season and finish in the bottom three of the table. They are predicted to accompany new entrants to the Premier League, Norwich City and Sheffield United.

  1. Newcastle 9/4
  2. Norwich City 10/11
  3. Sheffield United 4/6

2019/20 Premier League Prediction Golden Boot

As for the Golden Boot, Liverpool's Mohammad Salah is tipped to win it once again in the forthcoming Premier League season.

Mohammad Salah (Liverpool) 5/1

2019/20 Champions/Europa League Predictions

  • Champions League winner: Real Madrid
  • Europa League: Tottenham

The European campaign of 2018-19 that was so dominated by English teams could turn out to be a disaster this time around for them. Both the finalists of 2018-19 UEFA Champions League, Liverpool and Tottenham are expected to bow out in the quarter-finals stage itself. The silver lining being that Spurs could go onto win the Europa League.

Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane are predicted to lift the forthcoming season's Champions' League title. This would give the French coach a 100 per cent record in the competition.

Bayern Munich have been predicted to be the losing finalists. Barcelona and Juventus will be the ones bowing out in the semi-final stage.

Premier League title odds for 2019-20

Manchester City 1/2

Liverpool 13/5

Tottenham 18

Chelsea 40

Manchester United 40

Arsenal 66

Everton 150

Wolverhampton 150

Leicester 300

West Ham United 500

Newcastle 1000

Crystal Palace 1000

Watford 1000

Wolves a Team to Watch and bet at 16/1

Wolves a Team to watch and bet at 16/1 in the EPL Top 4

Although not title contenders, Wolves could be a team to watch out for. The 30-million-pound acquisition of Raul Jimenez from Benfica is value addition to a Wolves attack that already has shown enormous promise in the 2018-19 season. Coach Nuno Espírito Santo's ascent on youngsters mixed with experience make the West Midland side a formidable one.

Expect the Wolves to punch far above their weight once again. Daring betters can put their money at odds of 150/1 on Wolverhampton which most probably does not do justice to this under-rated team. A shot at the Top 4 cannot be ruled out at a juicy 16/1 with Bet365. (01/08/2019 – Odds subject to change)
