Kyle Mbappe on the radar at Real Madrid
Now that the Alvaro Morata deal with Chelsea has been inked for £58 million, Real Madrid are in the hunt for a striker who could replace the 24-year old Spanish forward at Bernabeu.

Like arch-rivals Barcelona, Los Blamcos are homing in on the Monacoan teen prodigy, Kyle Mbappe, not for the staggering price the kid commands but in exchange of one of their key forwards, Karim Benzema. But the Real forward could be on Arsenal's cross-hairs if Alexis Sanchez were to depart.

Meanwhile, both Gunners and Liverpool have evinced interest in signing Real Madrid winger, Lucas Vazquez. Although the 26-year old Vasquez has appeared in as many as 50 matches for Los Blancos in the 2016-17 season, he has made it amply clear he does want to spend one more year at the Bernabeu. Roma, too, are keen to rope in the Spanish right-winger.

Also on Real Madrid's radar are Manchester United's 19-year old striker Marcus Rashford, Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, who was especially brilliant for Germany in the recently concluded Confederations Cup.

Zidane has made no bones about his interest in bringing Mbappe to Bernabeu. But for that to happen, he will have sell Gareth Bale and Benzema. It's highly unlikely with Bale's fading fortunes at the Bernabeu that the Welshman would fetch anything close to the £79 million transfer that got him from Tottenham Hotspur four years ago. Both the Real stalwarts would be lucky to fetch a combined £120 – £125 million, a sum just enough to match Mbappe's current price tag.

Marco Asensio is another player who intends staying on at the Bernabeu, but on his terms.

The 21-year old Arsenio, who plays in a midfield/winger position is seeking a better deal from Zidane, one that matches the kind Manchester United and Arsenal are willing to offer.

Arsenio has scored 10 goals from his 38 appearances for Real Madrid and has always remained in the shadow of the Bale-Benzema-Ronaldo combine. So coming out of it just seems to be the most logical expectation for the youngster. With the two Premier League giants gunning for him, Zidane may just be tempted to sell Arsenio if he gets the right price.

Just when it looked almost certain that goalkeeper David De Gea would leave Manchester United for Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has quashed such talk by stating that the 26-year old Spanish custodian will be staying at the Old Trafford this season “100 per cent”.
