2020-21 UEFA Nations League, Group E preview: Rennes vs Chelsea – Stade de la Route-de-Lorient – Tuesday, 24 November 2020 – 19:45 BST – Matchday 4 of 6
Rennes vs Chelsea Preview
Frank Lampard's Chelsea head to France to play Rennes in a Group E match of the UEFA Champions' League having already beaten the French side 3-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
The Blues are in fine fettle with consecutive wins from their last 4 outings across all competitions, the last one being a 0-2 win away at Newcastle that catapulted them to the 3rd place on the Premier League points table.
The same cannot be said of their forthcoming European rivals who have trundled from one defeat to another, losing all three of their previous appearances.

Rennes manager Julien Stephan has a few injury concerns with midfielder Jonas Martin, Italian centre-back Daniele Rugani and left-back Faitout Maouassa all ruled out for Tuesday night's game owing to injuries. Left-back Dalbert remains suspended.
On the other hand, Chelsea could have to do without the services of winger Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz and centre-back Thiago Silva. Timo Werner could be rested or introduced sometime in the latter half of the game.
Rennes probable starting XI in a 4-3-3 formation:
Alfred Gomis (goal), Brandon Soppy, Damien Da Silva, Nayef Aguerd, Adrien Truffert, Eduardo Camavinga, Benjamin Bourigeaud, Martin Terrier, Romain Del Castillo, Serhou Guirassy, Flavien Tait

Rennes vs Chelsea Verdict
[irp posts=”2418″ name=”UK Betting Sites List & Top Welcome Bonuses”]The arrival of summer signing Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva from PSG has solidified the Chelsea defense to an extent that they have conceded just one goal from their last 5 outings. The attack has been on the rampage with Leipzig import and German International Werner getting goals in virtually every game of late.
A 1-3 win at 12/1 with Bet365, (subject to alter and correct as of 23/11/2020) for Chelsea looks a most likely result.
Chelsea are at the top of the Group E cluster at 7 points and a win at the Stade de la Route-de-Lorient on Tuesday could almost guarantee a place for them in the Round of 16.
