English Premier League: Top 4 Premier League probables and online bookmakers odds.

With Liverpool being declared champions, the remaining three places for the Top Four slot of the Premier League are up for grabs between Manchester City, Leicester City and Chelsea.

Top 4 Premier League Contenders Preview

Man City

With only seven games remaining and 8 points clear of 3rd-placed Leicester City's 55, Pepe Guardiola's Manchester City look a strong contender to finish second on the table.

Despite their Thursday night's loss to Chelsea and a forthcoming clash with title holders Liverpool, City won't worry too much – all their remaining six fixtures are against bottom-half sides.

Chelsea

Frank Lampard's Chelsea consolidated their position in the top 4 Premier League standings with their critical victory over City at Stamford Bridge, moving to within a point of a somewhat struggling Leicester City.

The Blues have comparatively easier fixtures coming up with teams like West Ham, Watford, Crystal Palace and Norwich City lined up, but things could get tight towards the end for them as they will have to come up against Liverpool and Wolves in their final two fixtures of the season.

For the coming few games at least they could be expected to maintain a 5-point gap over Manchester United and the Wolves provided they do not slip up.

Leicester City

Leicester City with a slender one-point lead over 4th-placed Chelsea seem most precariously placed and with the way things are going, a finish in the top 4 Premier League could look tight.

Brendan Rodger's Foxes after having started the season with a bang seemed to have lost their way in 2020.

The 2015-16 champions have managed just 4 wins from their last 15 Premier League outings and are struggling against all and sundry.

Their last fixture of the season will be a home one against Manchester United  – a game that could decide their fate as far as a top 4 Premier League finish goes.

Manchester United

Wolverhampton and Manchester United are both closing in fast for a top 4 Premier League finish. Of the two, Ole Solskjaer's Red Devils look more likely to break into that hallowed space.

United have bottom-half sides lined up till the last day of the season when they face Leicester City.

Till then, Solskjaer's men will hope for the Foxes to bungle up seriously on the way.

Wolves

Compared to United, the Wolves have some difficult opposition coming up in the form of Sheffield United, Arsenal and a season's finish with a Chelsea side determined to end up in the top 4 Premier League standings.

Sheffield United

Sheffield United beginning the 2019-20 season impressively, have slipped dramatically out of contention after their return from the pandemic break – registering only a point from their previous three outings.

Leave aside hopes for a Top Four finish, Chris Wilder's Blades could be battling for a place in the Top 8, being just a point ahead of 9th placed Arsenal.

Totteham Hotspur

As for Jose Mourinho's Totteham Hotspur, a facile 2-0 win over West Ham after a run of 4 winless games have done their cause little good.

In the 7th spot presently with 45 points and 4 behind Manchester United's 49, the Lilywhites have fixtures against sides like Sheffield, Arsenal and Leicester City coming up, making a Top Four finish a near impossibility.
