Liverpool Transfer News
The big news coming out of Anfield is that Phillipe Coutinho may have played his last game for Liverpool during their 2-1 win over Leicester City last week. Potential bidders Barcelona may have to cough up more than the £115 million they are willing to pay for the Brazilian striker. While the advent of super-forward Mohammad Salah has given a definitive edge to the Reds' attack this season, deficiencies at the back persist. Which is where the £75 million import from Southampton, Virgil van Dijk, comes in. The 26-year old Dutch center-back is expected to make his debut for his new club at Anfield during the big clash against Manchester City on January 14.

Man City Transfer News

Having missed out on Virgil van Dijk, Manchester City's Pep Guardiola is on the lookout for a permanent replacement for the injury-prone Vincent Kompany in the defence. Real Sociedad central defender Inigo Martinez seems a possible option. The Spanish central defender carries a release clause of £28 million which shouldn't bother City too much. Eliaquim Mangala will be free to leave City if Inigo Martinez comes in. French club Lille has evinced interest in Mangala who had cost City £42 million when he came in from Porto in 2014.

Manchester United Transfer News

Manchester United could look at Juventus right-back, Stephan Lichtsteiner, when his contract with the Italian giants expires this season. Although the 33-year old Swiss seems to be at the fag-end of his career, his experience and quality at the back would come in as a welcome relief for the over-worked Antonio Valencia. Tottenham’s Danny Rose and Arsenal forward Mesut Ozil, who will be a free agent this summer, are both on Jose Mourinho's radar. Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, full-backs Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind meanwhile face uncertain futures at Old Trafford and could be up for sale.

Spurs Transfer News

With Danny Rose probably into his last month with Tottenham Hotspurs, the attention could move to Everton’s Ross Barkley and the talented Fulham teenage left-back Ryan Sessegnon. Spurs full-back Kyle Walker-Peters could go out on loan, while striker Vincent Janssen is likely to be sold. Janssen is currently on loan to Turkish club, Fenerbahce.

Chelsea Transfer News

Even with the likes of Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard upfront, Chelsea are on the prowl for forwards to bolster their attack further. Not content with Michy Batshuayi as a back-up for Morata and Hazard, Antonio Conte has shown interest in Monaco's Thomas Lemar and even looking at Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye.

Arsenal Transfer Talk

With as many as half a dozen major players ending contractual obligations at the Emirates by June, Arsene Wenger, will be looking for players mostly below the age of 30. Arsenal are now involved in a tug-of-war for Thomas Lemar with Chelsea and could also land a £31million deal for 21-year old Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes whom the French club is happy to let go. There's a lot of speculation surrounding an impending £30million offer for the aggressive PSG defender David Luiz, but it's all rumors at this stage. Wenger is even contemplating calling back striker Lucas Perez, currently on loan to Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna. The 29-year old Perez had a lean phase at the Emirates earlier this season, managing just one goal from his 11 games for the Gunners. As for their talismanic scorer Alexis Sanchez, Man City have shown an unwavering interest in the Chilean striker. But Pep Guardiola seems to be of the opinion that Sanchez will stay on at the Emirates for one more season at least.
