BetDukes

BetDukes review of the new online bookmaker for UK players.

A newcomer on the UK online betting market, BetDukes was launched in 2020. Created by a team of industry experts, it aims to provide a high-quality online betting experience to its customers. It promises a fair and safe gaming experience for everyone who joins, which is backed up by the MGA license.

Owned and operated by ProgressPlay Limited, BetDukes features all the well-known sports markets and then some. All of them come with great odds in tow. While not spectacular or beating any heavy-hitters soon, BetDukes’ odds are just right for beginners, and solid for high rollers.

In terms of betting, the bookie covers every market you can think of. Football is at the forefront, of course, and is followed by basketball, tennis, horse racing, and plenty of other sports to bet on. There are literally hundreds of markets in tow for each sport paired with rock-solid odds that offer plenty of value.

BetDukes wants UK punters to have fun and have a good time, and as we saw during our review, it’s the perfect place to do so.

How to Sign Up to BetDukes

Signing up at BetDukes is a simple affair. The Join Now button is coloured green and available in the top right corner. Click on it, follow the instructions, enter the required data, and verify your account via email.

As soon as you do, you’ll be able to login with your new credentials and enjoy a range of betting markets. The registration process won’t take more than a few minutes of your free time, so you’ll be betting on your favourite teams and sports in a minute.

BetDukes Free Bets

When you sign up at BetDukes, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a great Bet 10, Get 10 free bet offer. It’s available to new customers only and while it’s not spectacular, it’s a free tenner we’re sure you’ll put to good use.

It’s a very popular type of free bet that can be found at most betting sites. BetDukes’ free bet is a great way to start your journey, even if you’re a new punter. Getting a tenner for free will require you to spend and bet a tenner first, but as soon as you do that, you’ll have another £10 to spend any way you want to.

How to Claim the BetDukes Free Bet

BetDukes’ free bet offer is available to new UK customers only. To claim it, you will need to register and verify your profile. After that, all that’s left is to deposit £10 and place bets valued at 10 pounds on markets with odds of 1.50 or higher. The stake is not included in the returns.

As soon as you’ve made an eligible deposit, the free bet status will turn to ‘Pending’ on your profile. When you accumulate £10 in real bets, the bonus’ status will turn to ‘Active’ and will be available to use.

You can redeem the free bet only after you’ve made your first deposit. Keep in mind that you’ll need to wager it 10 times before converting the bonus funds to real money. The bonus funds and winnings will expire after 7 days.

The maximum conversion allowed with the free bet is £20. As soon as you meet the wagering requirements, you’ll be able to claim the funds as cash and use them in non-promotion plays.

Other Bonuses and Promotions

One of BetDukes’ highlights is definitely the promotions area. All new UK punters will be getting a free bet as a welcome reward, but there are plenty of promotions that follow.

For example, you’ll be claiming bonuses on Boxing Day, or a variety of bonuses on specific sports and leagues. US horse racing fans have plenty to look forward to come Kentucky Derby day. There are basketball promotions and tournaments, cricket offers, snooker promos, as well as a slew of bonuses and promotions for Esports tournaments and motorsports.

Besides the tournaments, you can take part in many competitions and tournaments, namely the hoops and football leaderboards. Bet on those sports, climb the leaderboard, and if you top it, you’re in for a massive cash amount.

Even though it’s a newcomer in the crowded market, BetDukes is a pretty generous bookie with excellent rewards.

Layout & Design

BetDukes has opted for a very traditional approach to the layout and design, and we don’t mind. It’s very similar to what most sites are using these days, but without the unnecessary flashy banners and similar elements.

New UK punters will have no trouble to bet at the site. The sports menu is to the left, with two tabs – pre-match and live betting. Click on the odds and that particular bet will be instantly added to the bet slip on the right.

In the central part of the screen, you’ll see the featured markets as well and the schedule for the sports you’ve selected. It features the top markets only such as 1×2 betting. Of course, you can easily click on the number of markets to bring up the full menu.

Thanks to the familiar approach to the layout and design, BetDukes’ interface is pretty easy to follow.

Sports Markets

There are over 1,500 sports markets to bet on at BetDukes spread across dozens of sports. Football is the main focus, of course, with the bookie offering plenty of markets on the Premier and Champions League. All the other major football markets are properly covered, including the Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, football World Cup, and the Euros.

If you’re a football fan, you can look forward to thousands of markets starting with the most common ones – match winner and outrights. The odds for the PL outrights are pretty great, especially if you believe an outsider can win the league. Remember Leicester City’s title? If you’re willing to risk a bet by May, you may be in for quite a handsome reward.

The odds for Champions League betting outrights this year are pretty solid too, considering the unpredictable nature of the tournament and close competition. It’s the top market when you select football from the list, and it’s no wonder why. Of course, you can bet on all the matches separately too, and place a number of team and individual bets.

If you’re not into football, you have tennis, cricket, rugby betting, horse racing, ice hockey, volleyball, table tennis, and plenty of other competitions to bet on. Since these aren’t as popular as football, you can find many odds of value if you explore the market properly.

Darts is one sports market UK punters will want to try. Whoever has placed bets on darts competitions knows how fun they can be.

Pre-match and live bets on Esports are also available. What was once an outsider is now a fully-fledged online sports betting market, and with quite the odds too. There are plenty of Esports competitions worldwide to bet on, including DOTA 2, CS:GO, and Fortnite and Overwatch events. Esports betting is a very active and popular market to bet on right now, and you will find bets of value if you explore it nicely.

Besides sports, BetDukes offers betting on non-sport events such as politics and TV shows and movies. If you think that you’ll find great value in those markets, we can highly recommend them.

BetDukes App & Mobile Betting

While BetDukes doesn’t have a mobile app (yet), its mobile website works pretty good. During our BetDukes review, we didn’t find it hard to navigate the mobile site or place bets. The interface is intuitive and the design and layout scale down to fit your screen size.

You don’t need to download or install anything to place bets on the go at BetDukes. That goes for both pre-match and live betting markets. All the markets are properly covered and you also get access to the same bonuses and promotions.

Betting on he go has become the preferred way to bet for most UK punters, so it’s vital for a bookie to have an app or a mobile site. BetDukes’ website has all the tools it needs to succeed, so if you’re more likely to bet on your Android/iOS smartphone or tablet, you don’t need to look further than this one.

In-Play Betting

In-play betting is one of the several highlights of this exciting new bookie. While there are many more pre-match betting markets, live betting at BetDukes is pretty spectacular on its own. The odds are great, all of the sports and markets are properly covered, and the odds are pretty great as well.

Once again, the list of live betting markets starts with football, but there are plenty of other exciting sports to bet on too. Select a live betting market from the menu and you’ll get an expanded live event view along with an overview of all the matches in the competition. There’s a live calendar too, and a results tab where you can check out a team’s performance in the previous round.

The in-play betting section at BetDukes is pretty stacked with choices. When you bet on a match, you can follow the stats easy thanks to the integrated tracker. The Results Center is pretty deep too, and is the spot where you can check out the results for a number of teams and competitions. All of this is available on mobile devices too.

There’s only one thing missing – live streaming. It’s a feature that not many bookies have, especially not those as young as BetDukes. However, it’s still a pretty convenient feature that we’re hoping gets added to the site soon.

BetDukes Help & Customer Support

The Help Centre at BetDukes can be contacted via email or live chat. Support is available round the clock, so it doesn’t matter if it’s day or night – you’ll find an available agent nevertheless.

Thanks to the speed and convenience, we recommend getting in touch via live chat. If you have a more extensive question, you can use the email option. There’s an email form at the website where you should enter your details and pick the subject which makes things easy for punters.

The Help Centre has been boosted with a FAQ section that covers the most important topics. If you don’t know how to deposit, withdraw, or want to learn more about the minimum and maximum stakes, the FAQ centre is your best bet.

BetDukes Payment Methods

BetDukes has partnered with numerous leading payment providers for safe and secure deposits and withdrawals. You can use:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Zimpler
  • Neteller
  • PayPal
  • Skrill
  • Neosurf
  • UPI
  • NetBanking
  • giropay
  • Qiwi
  • Web Money
  • Bank transfer
  • Euteller
  • Trustly
  • Bitcoin

As you can see, the betting site has jumped on the cryptocurrency hype train and allows Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals. They’re by far the fastest option to use at the site, and possibly the most secure too.

The minimum deposit is set at £20 for most options, with deposits completed instantly (sans bank transfers).

When it comes to withdrawals, you can use a lot less methods to get your winnings. The list still includes the most popular e-wallets in Neteller, Skrill, and PayPal, as well as the omnipresent Visa and Mastercard and Bitcoin. We were a bit disappointed by the withdrawal times (1-3 business days for most options), but new UK players won’t mind.

BetDukes Pros and Cons

BetDukes is a solid gambling site now listed at our new betting sites page but not without a few quirks.

Pros

  • Straightforward layout and design.
  • Covers all popular sports markets and a few lesser-known.
  • Plenty of payment options, Bitcoin included.
  • Live betting.

Cons

  • No live streaming.
  • Slow withdrawals.

BetDukes Review Verdict

There’s no question that BetDukes is on the right track to UK online betting fame. It’s an excellent new betting site that sports a nice design, plenty of markets, valuable odds, and a number of payment options, including Bitcoin – although this option isn't available for UK players yet.

No matter if you’re a football, tennis, horse racing, or basketball fan, you’ll find a pre-match or live market to place your bets on at BetDukes. It may be launched in 2020, but it’s already chasing the giants in the industry, and with a bit of effort, it can catch them.
