Castres will do all they can to spoil the party for Montpellier and create more misery for them at the final hurdle.

They have an impressive winning record having won the Brennus shield 5 times and have had a strong run to the final. They overcame Toulouse in a bruising encounter in the semi-final just a few days ago.

 

Castres head coach Pierre-Henry Broncan will hope his team can finish the season on a high.

They are a team who are used to winning. Their most recent title came in the 2018 match against Montpellier, and they know what is needed to get over the line.

It's too tight to call and many believe that Castres will win the title but only by a couple of points.

In a contest this close, it's hard to predict the outcome.

I believe that Montpellier will take their revenge for the 2018 loss and will give retiring former France captain Guilhem Guirado, the send-off that he so desperately wants.
